The impact of the Department of Mechanical Engineering on society is easily demonstrated by noting the alignment of the department's evolution with key events and technological advances in the India and elsewhere. The department offers Diploma courses in Production Engineering, Automobile Engineering and CAD Engineering (Computer Aided Designing). The laboratory and workshop facilities with modern sophisticated equipment to carry out research in all areas related to Mechanical Engineering.
