Little Flower Polytechnic established and administered by Little Flower Mission Education Society, Gorakhpur. Realizing the felt need of the People of Gorakhpur and keeping the aim to impart technical education to the youth this institute was started. This is the First Technical Institute of Eastern Uttar Pradesh run by the Christian Missionaries. This institute always stands for the training of the youth from all walks of life exploring their skills and making them not only excellent professionals but also good persons of strong character and moral integrity with the understanding and regard for human values and pride in their heritage and culture and a yearning for the perfection.
Little Flower Polytechnic came into existence in 2010 and formerly inaugurated on 11 November 2010 by Sri Sadal Prasad, the then Minister of State for Technical Education, U.P. It is located 10 km away from Gorakhpur railway station. With a refreshing and eco friendly environment and beautiful scenery it provides an atmosphere conducive to effective training and learning programme.
Little Flower Polytechnic got NOC from the state Government in 2010 and is Approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is Affiliated to Board of Technical Education, U.P.
The five courses were approved by the AICTE in 2010 are Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (Automobile), Mechanical Engineering (Production). In 2013 we received the approval for Chemical Engineering from AICTE and permission from BTE for lateral entry. In 2014 we were given Approval for Mechanical Engineering (CAD) and for running Second Shift Programme in two disciplines namely, Mechanical Engineering (Production) and Electrical Engineering. At present we have the Approval for admitting 540 students every year besides the permission for 48 admissions through lateral entry. The first batch of students came out with high standards of performance. Our students are placed in many and different reputed companies like TATA, Mahindra and Mahindra, Haier India production Hub, TVS motors, etc... Our Joy is that we could make placement for 80% of our students. Many are setting their goals in higher studies. We are confident that this institute will solve the problem of unemployment to some extent, and be a source of career hope for the coming generation.
